I grew up in a household of four, raised by a single mother who stretched every dollar she earned as a teacher to provide for us. We were lucky to have free community programs, but anything beyond that—advanced sports training, music lessons, or tutoring—was out of reach. I remember wanting to grow in mathematics and robotics, and other areas not normal in my neighborhood but knew financial limitations would always hold us back. Those experiences shaped me and gave me a deep appreciation for the importance of access and opportunity.
Now, as a parent, I’ve been fortunate to have the resources to pay for my own children’s activities. I’ve seen firsthand how music lessons, sports training, and extra academic support have given them confidence, discipline, and room to explore their talents. It made me realize just how much potential is lost when kids don’t have the same opportunities. While talking to a college friend about the need for funding youth development, we decided to start Opportunity Orchard to change that—to create a place where all children, regardless of their family’s financial situation, can pursue their passions, discover their strengths, and thrive.

About Me:
Education & Training
I began my professional journey with a strong academic foundation, earning a double major from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University in Management Information Systems and Organizational Business Behavior & Policy. This unique blend of technical expertise and strategic insight laid the groundwork for a versatile career spanning technology, finance, and real estate.
My career began in Dallas, TX, as a Technical Consultant for a startup, where I led cross-functional teams to deliver digital strategies and technology solutions for Fortune 500 clients. After relocating to the Bay Area, I transitioned into a Financial Consulting role with a leading data and analytics firm in San Mateo, CA. There, I advised institutional investment firms on financial analytics, portfolio management, and data-driven decision-making—skills that would later shape my analytical approach to real estate investing.
Over the past two decades, I have built a successful real estate portfolio and investment firm in the Bay Area, where I now call home. Drawing on deep expertise in market analysis, financial modeling, and value-add strategies, I lead efforts to identify and capitalize on high-potential opportunities across residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties.
Today, I continue to blend my corporate experience with entrepreneurial vision—helping investors and partners uncover hidden value and unlock untapped potential. Co-founding Opportunity Orchard is a reflection of that mission: to empower youth to discover their strengths earlier in life, thrive, and ultimately help shape a better future for all.
